Welcome to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

We aim to produce generations of graduates who can think with dexterity and reshape the current social, economic and political spaces and systems for Africa and globally. Our programmes are geared towards scholarship that informs equity and inclusion, challenging historical systems of oppression and privilege on multiple levels. Our faculty is diverse in discipline and background. We come together through our commitment to thoughtful, critical and indigenous scholarship while exploring varied perspectives.

This course is suitable for those students seeking employment in the following areas: camera operators, photo-journalists, video & photo editors, advertising specialists, communications officers, public speakers, spokespersons, personal assistants and journalists.

The purpose of the programme is to provide graduates with vocational knowledge and skills required in the tourism industry. Graduates of this programme will be equipped to enter both the public and private tourism sectors as entry level employees, and will be able to utilize and apply operational skills and problem-solving techniques within tourism businesses or public tourism institutions.
